The Victorinox and Wenger 1998 Soldier Swiss Army knives are a 93mm / 3 1/2" ribbed alox knife, with a 1998 date on the blade tang. This model was standard issue for the Swiss army during 1998. It has the same tool details as the prior 1997 Soldier, and the succeeding 1999 Soldier.
Size & Weight: The Victorinox and Wenger 1998 Soldier knife is 93mm (3 1/2") long, 23mm (15/16") wide, and 14mm (1/2") thick. It weighs about 73 grams (2.6 oz).
